The Textile and Fashion Design Program is designed to equip students with foundational knowledge regarding the evolution of textiles and clothing in Thailand, Eastern countries, and Western countries. The program's goal is to enable students to inherit the rich Thai textile arts from diverse regions of the country, contributing to the academic community and disseminating this knowledge to the public.

Students in this program will develop the skills to produce creative works in textiles and clothing that are not only fashionable but also aligned with current market demands. The curriculum offers opportunities for students to deepen their expertise in both the science and art of textiles and clothing. They will gain the ability to design textile and clothing products suited for various segments of the industry.

Furthermore, students will receive education in essential areas such as management, marketing, presentations, and modern technologies that are vital for success in the textile and ready-made clothing industry. The Textile and Fashion Design Program offers two majors:

  1. the major in the art of textile designing, and
  2. the major in the art of clothing and garment designing. This diversity allows students to tailor their education to align with their specific interests and career goals.
