In the field of Iconology, Department of Theatre and Performance Practice would like to express gratitude to Assistant Professor Dr. Anucha Teerakanont, Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts,

Thammasat University, for graciously accepting to be a guest speaker for the lecture on the "History and Development of Thai Puppet Theater." This lecture included demonstrations of shadow puppetry and small puppet performances for the students of the Puppet Theater course.

 

The lecture took place on February 19th, 2024, providing students with insights into the rich history, cultural significance, and evolution of Thai puppet theater.
